  • Esthetics of the project (high expectations of customer).
  • Logistics: stock and transport of materials during installation, access, etc.<
  • Adverse weather conditions for fully adhered system: wind, rain, high relative humidity.
  • Adverse working conditions: shape of roof, wind, etc.
  • Security: roofing crew, etc.
  • Development of esthetic sheet lay-out.
  • Design of roofing details: gutters, roof edge, etc.
  • Training of roofing crew.

The Firestone TPO Roofing System for the new Carrasco Airport terminal has been designed in accordance to FM – Specs and offers a 1 – 150 wind uplift rating.
Firestone B.P. manufactured specifically for this project a new 8 ft wide TPO flashing for detailing of the curved roof edges.
